Green real estate is altering fundamental market dynamics and consumer interest. The long-term cost savings, health impact, and durability associated with green homes continue to shape the real estate market.

NAR’s Green Designation demonstrates how real estate professionals can increase their incomes by helping clients make informed choices about the resource efficiency and performance of the homes they live in, sell, and buy. Help your clients distinguish fact from fiction and make educated decisions about the value of green features in homes.

NAR’s program is distinctly different compared to other, similar training programs in that it focuses largely on improving resource-efficiency in existing homes (as opposed to new home construction only), concentrates on building a foundational knowledge base about green issues, and offers objective and unbiased information.

The home inspection is one of the most crucial parts of the home buying process. Many issues identified during the home inspection, if left untreated, can lead to significant costly repairs later, or even unsafe and hazardous living conditions. Offers are finalized or revoked as a result of a home inspector’s report. A home inspection can be a source of anxiety for buyers, sellers, and real estate agents. However, real estate agents can ease some of their clients’ anxieties by helping them to be better educated and prepared for the home inspection process. This course will identify the most common problematic areas in a home inspection and provide real estate agents with tools and strategies they can use to allay their clients’ concerns.

Product Notes

How do we discuss commission with Buyers, avoiding antitrust violations.

Buyer’s Agency it’s so easy we show 3 houses, go to a coffee shop, buyer picks the home they want, agent sends offer to listing agent, close on the house and everyone is happy. Fact or Fiction?

How do we educate buyers on what is most often the biggest investment they will make in their lifetime?

When do we present the CIS form? What is the responsibility of the Buyers Agent? Is the buyer a client or customer? Elements of a Buyer’s Agency Agreement and discussing compensation. All this and more will be discussed, as we work to dispel myths and avoid misunderstandings in the Buyer’s Agency relationship.
